In this episode, Kevin has yet another conversation with Dr.
Lisa Wolf. This time they discuss a recent study and manuscript
called “Traumatic Stress in Emergency nurses: Does your work
environment feel like a warzone?”
In this study nurses reported high levels of secondary trauma
stress and described in detail how traumatic stress manifested in
their lives. Theses nurses described chronic, cumulative trauma
that affected both their ability to provide nursing and even their
ability to connect at home with friends and family. This episode is
going to blow your mind. This is the most important AOEN podcast to
date.
Take a look at her work mentioned in the episode

theory using situational analysis.
